Hot Air Balloon Adventure
Begun in
the 1700s by several Frenchmen, building and flying hot
air balloons has really not changed that much over the years, except that hot air ballooning is safer and more popular than ever! Imagine floating on air, watching the world drift below in
all its beauty and wonder, houses and cars looking like toys.
Imagine feeling a lovely breeze in your face, and leaving all of life's problems behind as you spend the most fabulous morning or evening imaginable on a hot air balloon flight.
The wicker
basket is comfortable and the experience is glorious. No matter what terrain you fly over, or how many flights you've taken, each experience is a once in a lifetime event. You and nature seem to be one as the world glides beneath you.
Do some research and be prepared when booking a hot air balloon flight.
Most launch either at dawn, or just before dusk, due to the winds being at their most favorable at those times of day. Dress comfortably in light layered
fabrics, and bring a hat and sunglasses, as well as a light jacket. It
can be very warm in the basket, but you will be surprised how much cooler the air is a few thousand feet off the ground! And don't forget your camera, to capture those magical panoramic views.
If you think a hot air balloon ride with your favorite person is simply unattainable, think again. In fact, it's very affordable, and hot air ballooning is becoming more and more prevalent all over the world. There's probably a hot air balloon flight service close to you, just waiting to take you on the ride of your life.
Most hot air balloon flights last anywhere from one to three hours, and you'll be picked up by the "chase crew" who follow the balloon in a vehicle and meet the balloon upon landing to collect the equipment and passengers.
Because nobody is ever absolutely sure where they'll land in a hot air balloon, an adventurous sightseeing trip after the ride is
often an added bonus. Most flights are followed by a champagne
toast, and you generally receive a certificate that you are now "lighter than air".
If you've never been on a hot air balloon ride, you're in for a treat! Most flights are extremely smooth and gentle, and can even be perfect for people who are not that comfortable with heights. Pilots must be certified, and all equipment is examined and safety-checked thoroughly before passengers are ever taken up.
Hot air ballooning is a safe, exciting, and fun activity for the entire family!

A Quick Guide For New Coarse Anglers
If youve just taken up coarse fishing, or youre thinking about it, you might
find it helpful to learn a little more about
the sport. Coarse fishing is tremendously popular, and with fish ranging from small roach at under 1lb to giant carp,
theres something for everyone.
If youre coarse fishing in the UK, the first thing you need to do is get a rod licence. You must have this licence in order to fish in any water even if you have the
owners permission.
Tackle
The type and quantity of tackle you choose to buy is important. Seasoned coarse anglers have a wide range of equipment, collected over the years and, in some cases, adapted for a particular use. As a novice, you wont need to invest in all this expensive tackle at one go, but there are a few essential items:
Rods there are beginners rods available, and a good tackle shop will be able to talk you
through the advantages and disadvantages of this type of rod. Many coarse anglers think that a beginners rod is too short, and advise a lightweight 10ft rod instead. The choice is yours, but make sure that you buy the best rod that you can afford, because it will last longer, and be more use to you as you become more proficient.
Lines as a new angler, you should start with a light line, so that you can get used to handling the rod and catching the smaller fish. Line comes in different materials and weights, so speak to your local tackle shop to see
what they stock and what will be best for you.
Reels there are only three types of reel, but each of those types has its own range. A fixed reel is best for beginners, because you dont need the gearing of a multiplier reel and the revolving centre pin reel doesnt give you the flexibility you need. Again, ask for advice when it comes to matching your reel to your rod and line.
Hooks the types of hook you can use could be the subject of a separate article. Some of the hooks wont be any use to you until youve mastered the basics of angling, so get a good beginners selection from your tackle shop, which will be
happy to help.
Once you have your basic equipment,
including bait, a seat-box and a landing net, then find a local lake where there will be someone on hand to help, and go and see what coarse fishing is all about.

PS3 Game Previews and Reviews
The Sony PS3 will be
the most powerful game console
ever released. The impressive parallel processing architecture and powerful GPU allows for arguably
the most ambitious releases on a console ever. Certainly, the
graphics and performance the system will deliver will outstrip that
of its more prudent competitors, Xbox 360, and Nintendo's Wii. It should come as no surprise then, that many of the most anticipated titles of 2007 will launch on the PS3, some on multiple platforms, others exclusively. As impressive as the hardware is, it's really not important in the scheme of things; what really matters is what games you can actually play!
The PS3 is costly enough as it is, and as with anything else you invest in, you wouldn't want to do it before reading up on it first. What better way to do that, than to check out some PS3 game
previews? Generally speaking, the best sources of PS3 previews will come from
those websites and magazines that have generally covered PS2 and the original PS from the outset. General gaming sites like Gamespy/IGN, Gamespot, 1up, and GamesIndustry.biz are generally good sources of
quick, easy to read news, game previews, and reviews. The quality varies, but what is common to each of these is that they will compare their subject matter to the
competition. In this case, exclusive PS3 titles would be compared against games on Xbox 360 and Wii in any PS3 game review.
If you're already a fan, and you're set on having a PS3, you might prefer PS3 reviews from sites that deal with nothing else. Dedicated community fansites tend to have active discussion forms full of analysis of every last detail. More to the point, the staff who run such sites are generally fans themselves, and are just as interested in the system and games they post about, which is usually reflected in their reporting. Sites like PSXextreme, PSrules, PS3 Power, and PS3 Land are all good sources of PS3 game previews.
Naturally, there aren't any PS3 reviews out yet, but these sites are already geared up and equipped to start posting them as soon as they hit the shelves in November.
Anticipated titles at release time will include the fourth game in the ever popular Gran Turismo series, Madden 07, Vampire's Rain, Crysis, Fatal Inertia, MotorStorm, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 3, NBA Live 07, Need for Speed: Carbon, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, Resistance: Fall of Man, and F.E.A.R. Also keep in mind that the PS3 is going to be widely backwards compatible with older PS and PS2 games, which you'll be able to buy from Son'y PNP service, if you don't already have them one of the major selling points! For your PS3, game reviews already written will be just as useful. Finally, going back even further, Sony has announced that a wide variety of Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) games will be also be compatible with the PS3, opening up yet more games to its repertoire.
